Data sources and currency

Where the rates come from, how often they are reconciled and what the data version means.

Data version 2026-10-30 · 126 measures in force · 1 580 producers with TARIC additional code · declaration text stored for 56 of 126 measures

Sources

Official Journal of the European Union via EUR-Lex and Cellar (legal acts, titles in the EU languages, dates of entry into force) and the EU TARIC database, queried via ISZTAR4 (the Polish tax administration's query system, identical data set to TARIC-EU). Producer tables are reconciled against the regulation text.

Rhythm

Every night at 6:30 CET the reconciliation checks all tariff codes with measures in force against China for new legal acts, rate changes, registrations and reviews. The data version in the footer and in every report is the date of the last successful reconciliation.

Delays

New regulations are available on the day of publication in the Official Journal; implementation in TARIC usually follows within a few days. During that time the report shows the legal act as an event with its date. If the data version is more than three days old, a notice at the top of the page says so.

What the data version is not

No guarantee that the customs office sets the same rate. You check classification, origin and invoice content; we document the published legal status at the time of the check – with timestamp and checksum.
